SFX Junior Ambassadors Inauguration Ceremony 2013-2014

The students (Top 10 students of the junior forms) with outstanding academic performance are honoured as the SFX Junior Ambassadors 2013-2014.Their parents were invited to the Inauguration Ceremony to share the joy with their sons on the 3rd of March. A Letter of Acknowledgement was sent to the respective primary schools for having laid a sound foundation for these students. The ambassadors will also pay a visit to their Alma Mater to extend their heartfelt gratitude for their dedicated devotion to their studies and development. It is hoped that students would learn how to appreciate the effort of all those who have attributed to their academic achievements and personal development.

SFXC & SFXS Student Exchange Programme2013-2014 Phase 1

The Student Exchange Programme between St. Francis Xavier’s College (SFXC) and St. Francis Xavier’s School, Tsuen Wan (SFXS) aims to enhance the communication between the two Marist Schools in Hong Kong and to give an opportunity for the senior form students in both schools to expose to a different learning environment.

In the first phase of the programme (March3 – March7), seven of our students experienced the school life in SFXS.

F.5 TV Commercial Making Competition 2013-2014

As part of the assessment of the English Language Elective on Popular Culture, the F.5 students formed groups to compete in an inter-class competition in which they had to create a TV commercial.

The competition was held after school in the hall where judges, teachers and students gathered together to adjudicate and enjoyed the creative commercials.

We hope the students enjoyed the process of making the videos and congratulations to the following winners!

Last School Day of F.6 Students

On the 21st of January, all of the F.6 boys attended school for the very last time. To make their last school day a memorable one, the students organized a series of activities and events.

During the morning assembly, twoF.6 boys from each class talked about their memories in the school and expressed their gratitude to their devoted teachers.....

They presented a model, which is a replica of the school, to Brother Joseph as a token of thanks for all that the school has done for them.

As the last bell rang at the end of the day, the F.6 boys formed a picture of a tree. Three representatives from the form then spoke aloud to the entire school. Parents and alumni purposely came back just to witness that particular moment. To bring their secondary school life to a close, they released balloons into the sky along with their hopes, wishes and thanks written on the balloons. In the end, they sang the school song for the very last time.
